Rules - Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula was a romantic movie released on September 5, 2003 under the banner of Crossover Films India Pvt Ltd. The movie was directed by Parvati Balagopalan and produced by Nirja Shah. The actors in the key roles were Milind Soman, Raj Zutshi, Meera Vasudevan and Namrata Barua while there were special appearances by Bipasha Basu and Jackie Shroff. Music of the film was directed by Sandesh Shandilya and the songs were sung by Kunal Ganjawala, Sonu Nigam, Bombay Vikings, K K and Sanjeevani.

As the name of the movie Rules - Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula suggests, the movie is all about the game of love. Director aims to rebuild the old notion of love as built by the earlier films and songs. The story is about Radha ( Meera Vasudevan ) who lives in Mumbai with her grandparents and is working as a young assistant to a well-known fashion photographer Uday Singh. Since she was a teenager at 14, she had a crush on the famous supermodel Vikram Verma ( Milind Soman  ). Vikram has been the king of fashion world for 10 years and is ready to progress.

Vikram’s girlfriend Maggi ( Namrata Barua ) has some other thoughts, she wanted to have a career in films for both of them. One day, Radha gets to meet the man of her dreams, Vikram and falls in love with him instantly. She was also bit sad as she knew that she has no hope of ever winning him over. It is this moment when her grandmother ( Tanuja ) enters the scene and helps her by giving her the Rules. She gave her the 5 Rules of attraction that made he overjoyed and raised some hope in her heart.
