Bollywood romantic thriller, Saajan Ki Baahon Mein, directed by Jay Prakash was released on July 28, 1995. The movie starred Rishi Kapoor and Raveena Tandon in lead roles while Tabu, Sumit Sehgal, Prem Chopra, Deven Verma, Saeed Jaffrey, Pran, Navneet Nishan, Maya Alagh and Laxmikant Berde also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the film was given by Nadeem-Shravan and Kishore Sharma in collaboration while the songs were rendered by Kumar Sanu, Sadhana Sargam, Asha Bhonsle etc. The movie was a flop atthe box office but won rae reveiws for its music scores.

The movie starts with a young and popular singer named Sagar ( Rishi Kapoor ). During one of his show in Srinagar, he meets with a beautiful girl named Sapna Narang ( Raveena Tandon ) and falls in love with her at first sight. However, Sapna intially tires to keep distance from him but later she too falls in love with him. But Sapna’s father, Mr. Narang ( Pran ), wants her to marry someone of his choice and not Sagar. Sapna tries to covince her father about her marraige with Sagar. But in the end, she looses and agrees to marry the guy of her father’s choice. Sapna and Sagar get separated with each other.

Sagar fails to stand with this betrayal of Sapna and becomes an alocholic. Then another girl named Kavita ( Tabu ) enters in his life. Kavita and Sagar falls in love with each other and decides to get married soon. But just when Sagar is about to declare his marriage with Kavita in a party, he sees Sapna there. He learns that Sapna is planning to get engaged with his childhood friend, Rakesh ( Sumit Sehgal ). What will happen now? Will Sagar go ahead with his new love, Kavita or will try to go back to his old love, Sapna?
