The production of the movie Saas Bahu Aur Sensex has been completed and is ready to release on September 12, 2008 under the banners of P.L.A Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Warner Bros. The movie has been directed by Shona Urvashi and produced by Raman Lamba and Jayshri Makhija. The actors in the lead roles of the movie are Tanushree Datta, Farooq Sheikh, Ankur Khanna and Kirron Kher while supporting roles were played by Masumi Makhija and Sudhanshu Pandey. The music of the film had been directed by Blaaze and Bipin and the songs have been sung by Blaaze, Javed, Krishna and Monica Nath.

As the name of the movie suggests the theme of the movie is based around steaming ambitions, faked relations and the stock market. Life of the lead character in the film Nitya Sen ( Tanushree Datta ) was very miserable when she found that her parents were just going to get divorced and her mother will be leaving the home in Kolkata and moving to a new place in Mumbai. She planned to pursue her MBA in USA but had to join a call centre to make life go easy. She come across a nice guy Ritesh Jetmalani ( Ankur Khanna ) who turns out to be his boyfriend soon.

Ritesh does all his work with sincerity and also loves to eat non veg food though he can’t help running late always. Nitya’s mother Vinita Sen ( Kirron Kher ) was exhausted by her failed marriage and thus needed new friends to help her out, thus she joins the kitty parties of the colony. While helping her father with the shares Nitya meets Firoz Sethna ( Farooq Sheikh ) who teaches him the ways of correct investment. Nitya gets much bury with the call center and soon develops a loving relation with Ritesh. She also warns him about Kirti Wagaskar ( Masumi Makhija ).
