Bollywood suspense action thriller, Saazish, directed by Rajkumar Kohli was released in the year 1988. The movie starred Rajkumar, Mithun Chakrborthy and Dharmendra in lead roles while Dimple Kapadia, Shakti Kapoor, Vinod Mehra, Raj Babbar, Anita Raj, Amrish Puri and Kadar Khan also played important characters in the movie. The music of the film was given by veteran music director duo Kalyanji-Anandji while the songs were sung by Suresh Wadkar, Mohammed Aziz, Alka Yagnik, Sapna Mukherjee, Asha Bhonsle, Amit Kumar etc. The movie did average business at the box office.

The movie starts with Anand Kumar ( Mithun Chakraborthy ), who belongs to a middle class family. One day his younger sister, Geeta goes missing. He takes help of police but soon takes the charge of finding his sister on his own. He gets the information that his sister was seen in Bombay somedays before. Anand decides to go there and immediately leaves for Bombay. There he meets with a cabaret dancer, Roma ( Anita Raj ) and after few more meetings they both falls in love with each other.

Now Roma also decides to help Anand in locating his sister. They both starts their search but all there efforts goes in vain. Infact they both unknowingly get involved in a dangerous game which they can not leave in half. They both founds themselves in a deadly web of lies. They soon reveals that they are actually leading to their sure death and they have no other option than just going ahead in their search. What will be the end of their hard search?
