The social drama Sach was released in the year of 1990. The movie was directed as well as produced by Vinod Pandey. The main roles in the movie were played by Vinod Pandey, Prem Rishi, Jay Mathur and Hashmat Khan while the roles of Brij Gopal, Chandra, Anuradha Sawant and Lalit Tiwari were also important. The music of the film was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the songs were sung by Amit Kumar, Alka Yagnik and Mohammad Aziz.

The title of the movie Sach suggests its genre to be a social drama that raises the truths of the daily lives of the people. The story of the movie revolves around a simple man named Raj Kumar ( Vinod Pandey ) who has been married to his lovely wife for many years now. The thing between their relationships was that while he comes from a middle class family, his wife belonged to a well-to-do family. He loved his wife very much and wanted to provide her with everything she needed.

Raj wanted to fulfill his wife’s needs and for that he has struggled all his married life to provide the comforts and conveniences to make her wife happy. But this thing required his time and thus he was not able to give her time which made her unhappy. Raj comes across another woman Hansa Paranjpe ( Anuradha Sawant ) who is though married but was able to sympathize him. Slowly with the passage of time, both started loving each other.
