The action cum adventure movie Sachche Ka Bolbala was released in the year of 1989 under the banner of Javketan Films. The movie was directed and produced by Dev Anand. The main roles in the movie were played by Dev Anand, Meenakshi Seshadri, Hema Malini and Swapna while the presence of Prem Chopra, Jackie Shroff, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Suresh Bhagwat, Birbal and Bob Christo supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle.

The movie Sachche Ka Bolbala was an action cum adventure film that had nothing great to offer to the audience but was able to make some impression at the time of release. The movie was the home production of the lead actor Dev Anand and like all his latest films; this one was also a disaster at the box office. The story of the movie revolves around a guy who is the editor of a famous newspaper titled “The Truth”. The editor is Karan Kaul ( Dev Anand ) who has a charismatic personality.

Karan is so much dynamic that he is respected by his fans and the critics in the same manner. He comes across a beautiful lady one day, named Greta Sanders ( Hema Malini ) who is a Swiss national but of Indian origin. Greta gets killed one day, and after this incident Karan loses his credibility and was suspected of killing her. Even the police found some evidence that linked Karan’s presence at the spot of murder.
