Bollywood family drama movie, Sada Suhagan, directed by Rama rao Tatineni was released in the year 1986. The movie starred Jeetendra and Rekha in lead roles while Govinda, Shubha Khote, Anuradha, Aruna Irani, Anuradha Patel, Gauri Verma, Birbal, Mohan Chhoti, Vikas Anand and Sunil Dhawan also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by none other than the hit veteran music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were crooned by Mohammed Aziz, Anuradha Paudwal, Vijay Benedict, Asha Bhosle, Kavita Krishnamurthy etc.

Rajshekhar ( Jeetendra ) is living a wealthy but lonely lifestyle in his house. He come across a beautiful girl named Laxmi ( Rekha ) and get attracted towards her. Soon both of them falls in love with each other and decides to get married. Years later, they are now proud parenst of three children in which two are boys and one is girl. Ravi ( Govinda ) is the eldest son of them, Shashi ( Alankar ) is a younger son and Babli ( Sheela David ) is the only daughter. Ravi falls in love with a girl, who is actually the daughter of a prostitute. When Rajshekhar learns about this, he ask Ravi to leave her but Ravi refuse to do so. Ravi is then asked to leave the house.

Ravi then get married to his girlfriend and starts working as a pterol pump attendent. Rajshekhar reveals about his work and feels shameful. Rajshekhar suspects his servant, Keshav ( Mohan Chhoti ) for stealing money from the house but get shcoked to learn that it is his younger son, Shashi, who has actually stolen the money. Shashi is also thrown out of the house by Rajshekhar. Shashi then starts working as a peon in a firm. Rajshekhar gets another shock when his daughter refuse to get married with anyone just to have a dull life as her mother.
