Sannata was a suspense and musical film released on July 31, 1981 under the banner of G C Films. The movie was directed by Shyam Ramsay and Tulsi Ramsay while it was produced by Amarlal P Chabria. The main roles in the movie were played by Deepak Parashar, Mehmood, Sarika and Shobhana while the presence of Vijay Arora, Bharat Kapoor, Vinod Mehra, Bindiya and Lalita Pawar supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Rajesh Roshan while the songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar.
