The social movie Sarhad Paar was released on March 9, 2007 and was bannered under Nimbus Motion Pictures. The movie had been directed by Raman Kumar and the top roles were played by Sanjay Dutt, Mahima Choudhary, Chandrachur Singh and Tabu. The supporting roles were played by Akash Khurana, Rahul Dev, Rakesh Bedi and Raza Murad. The music of the film has been directed by Anand Raj Anand and the songs of the movie were sung by Anand Raj Anand, Sunidhi Chauhan, Alka Yagnik, Jaspinder Narula, Udit Narayan and Poornima.

Sarhad Paar is the yet another movie based on the theme of war and mostly revolves around a war prisoner Ranjit Singh ( Sanjay Dutt ). Ranjit returns home after a long time but was captured by the terrorists when he accidentally crossed the border and was declared missing. He then had to face the difficulties as he was made the prisoner across the border. He was almost dead when he managed to escape from there and return to his native land. His near and dear ones were much eager to see him and among them were his wife Pammi ( Tabu ) and sister Simran ( Mahima Chaudhary ).

Along with the happiness they had to see him, they were also sad to see his terrible condition and thus had to be admitted in the Army Hospital. There he remembered all the horrible experiences he went through. He was haunted by a strange face which he can’t recognize as he had lost all his memories. Pammi and Simran tried their full to help hin recover but were unsuccessfull in the effort. Pammi lost all her hope but Simran was very strong and didn’t lose any hope. She took help of her fiancé Ravi ( Chandrachur Singh ), a folk singer, to help Ranjit recover.
