Say Salaam India was a sports movie released on March 30, 2007 and was bannered under Credence Motion Picture & speaking Tree film. The movie was directed by Subhash Kapoor and was produced by Subhash Kapoor, Rakesh Andania and Harish Amin. The main roles were acted by Sanjay Suri, Sandhya Mridul, Milind Soman and Sachin Khedekar. The other major roles were played by Vinay Pathak, Anuj Pandit, Manoj Pahwa and Madhur Mittal. The music of the film was directed by Gaurav Dayal while the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Labh Jajua, Naresh Iyer and Jaspinder Narula.

The movie Say Salaam India is solely based on the theme of cricket and is a story that revolves around a group of foue young budding cricketers who like the game very much and have a really great passion for it. The four boys belong to simple families but have a reallygood passion for cricket and of course the promising talent. The boys were studying in some corporation school where wrestling was given the first preference over cricket. Wrestling was taught by the wrestling guru Surinder Huda (Manoj Pahwa ) who hated cricket very much.

The story of the movie is about these four boys Viru ( Mandhar Subhash ), Mahi ( Prateek Jain ), Shakeel ( Madhur Mittal ) and Guri ( Anuj Pandit ). The movie showcases how these kids fight to achieve their real passion. Then there is entry of Hari Sadu ( Sanjay Suri ), a great cricket fan, whose main goal now is to coach the team of Royal Heritage school so that they can win the next sixth state championship. But Hari was disliked by most of the school trust members due to his coaching methods and this is why he was thrown out and was replaced by Harry Oberoi ( Milind Soman ).
