Saza E Maut was a historical film released in the year of 1981. The movie was directed as well produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Saza E Maut was a historical film that revolved mostly around a girl named Malika Modi ( Radha Saluja ) who is a wealthy girl living a comfortable life with her widower father in India. They had lots of property and land in India. The movie takes a turn when one day Mr. Modi ( Francis Menezes ) passes away and leaves all the property to his younger brother but on a condition. The condition was that he will take care of all the business and property until Malika turns 25.

The movie takes a turn when just before the age of 25 Malika was told by a man named Uday Jagirdar ( Naseeruddin Shah ) that she will get killed before the age of 25 and the person who is going to kill her is none other than Uday himself. Malika does not believe him but runs away from him. She finds out that the man who is chasing her is not Uday but someone else named Anil Suri ( Dilip Dhawan ), an employee of her uncle. Malika then decides to take help from Uday himself.
