Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar was a family drama movie that was released on August 4, 2006 under the banner of Karishma International. The movie was directed by K.S. Adhiyaman and produced by Bubby Kent. The actors in the lead roles of the movie were Salman Khan, Supriya Karnik, Shilpa Shetty and Mohnish Behl whereas supporting roles were played by Reema Lagoo, Shakti Kapoor and Aasif Sheikh. The music was directed by Sajid-Wajid and Dabboo Malik while the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Sunidhi Chauhan and Udit Narayan.

The movie was earlier thought to be titled as Dil Chura Ke Chal Diye and the movie is director K S Adhiyaman’s second film featuring Salman Khan. His first production was “Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam” which was also based on the theme of marital relationships. The movie portrays the humour with intense romance of Ayaan ( Salman Khan ) and Ahana ( Shilpa Shetty ). Ayaan is a handsome and a smart guy from an upper class family and falls in love with a model, Ahana, who belongs to a very rich family.

Both Ayaan and Ahana decides to get married and are looking forward to start a new journey of their happy married life. Whatever be the situation if one of them needs any help, other is always there for him. With the passage of time, Ahana realizes that there is huge difference of the culture between her upbringing and Ayaan’s family. The things have changed now, even the small issues turns into a big problem. Now it all depends on the down to earth and the modest guy Ayaan to maintain his cool and set up his family back.
