Shaadi Se Pehle was a romantic comedy released on April 7, 2006 under the banner of Mukta Arts Entertainment. The movie was directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Himesh Reshammiya. The actors in the lead roles were Akshaye Khanna, Mallika Sherawat, Ayesha Takia and Aftab Shivdasani whereas the roles of Suniel Shetty, Anupam Kher and Gulshan Grover were also significant. The music of the movie was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik.

Shaadi se Pehle is the movie directed by Satish Kaushik and thus one can imagine it to be a good romantic comedy film. The story of the movie revolves around Ashish ( Akshaye Khanna ) and Rani ( Ayesha Takia ). Ashish and Rani fell in love with each other when they were in the college. Ashish has this small problem that he needs to have a pill when he is in tension. Rani’s father ( Vijayendra Ghatge ) was strictly against their relations and thus Ashish got a negative response when he asked him for Rani’s hand for their marriage.

The main reason for the negative response was Ashish’s low social as well as financial status. He then decided to work hard and soon became the proud owner of a house and a strong bank account. But during the pursuit of his dreams he became a nerve patient and needed a pill everytime he is in tension. He went to see a doctor ( Boman Irani ) and misunderstands his prescription of hypertension to cancer. Now he wanted to do everything he wished, before dying. He wanted to make Rani hate him as this would ease her tensions and for this he started flirting with Sania ( Mallika Sherawat ).
