Songs of Sharaarat
The romantic comedy Sharaarat was released on July 12, 2002. The movie was directed and produced by Gurudev Bhalla. The significant roles in the movie were enacted by Abhishek Bachchan, A K Hangal, Hrishita Bhatt and Dara Singh Randhawa while the roles of Tinu Anand and Helen were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Sajid-Wajid and the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Hariharan, Arvinder Singh, Saud Khan and Upendra Sood.
The movie Sharaarat directed by Gurudev Bhalla, is the story of few old people living in ‘Ashiyana’, an oldage home away from home. The story of the movie also revolves around a young boy Rahul Khanna ( Abhishek Bachchan ), a modern and careless guy who, somehow, has to spend 30 days of his life with old poeple in an oldage home. He was given this punishment by a judge of the court after seeing his offense. This one incident changes the life of this car freak careless guy.
The other lead in the film was played by Neha Sengupta ( Hrishitaa Bhatt ), editor of a newspaper who is looking for some interesting and exclusive news. She is the person who advised the judge to give a different punishment for his offense. Prajapti ( Amrish Puri ) plays the unelected leader of the oldage home ‘Ashiyana’. It is the clash of the egos that makes him indulge in quarrels with Rahul. According to the director, the movie has everything that a viewer wants.
