The action cum children movie Shiva Ka Insaaf was released on March 15, 1985. The movie was directed by Raj N Sippy and produced by Roman Sippy. The major roles in the movie were enacted by Jackie Shroff, Mazhar Khan, Poonam Dhillon and Parikshit Sahani while the roles of Gulshan Grover¸ Shakti Kapoor, Vinod Mehra, Birbal, Satish Kaul and Nandita Thakur were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Gulshan Bawra while the songs were sung by Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Aziz and Suresh Wadkar.

The movie Shiva Ka Insaaf was a usual action cum children movie that revolved mostly around a man named Jaggan ( Shakti Kapoor ). Jaggan is nothing less than a gangster and also has a huge gang. One day he decided to kill his enemies Shanta ( Nandita Thakur ) and Prakashnath ( Satish Kaul ). He soon sent his men to kill them and they were successful with their task. However the only witness to their murder was their only child named Bhola ( Jackie Shroff ).

Bhola had no one in contact but the only person he expected some help was his father best friend Ram ( Vinod Mehra ). He goes to Ram who accepts him and also introduces him to his friends Rahim ( Mazhar Khan ) and Robert ( Parikshit Sahani ). They all teach him fighting and self defense. Years pass by and Bhola has now grown up. His guardians have also given him a new name Shiva. Now it was his duty to take the revenge from his parent’s killers.
