Shoot on Sight is a social crime movie that is going to release soon in 2008. The movie has been directed by Jagmohan Mundhra and produced by Arun Govil. The lead roles in the film are being played by Naseruddin Shah, Om Puri, Greta Scacchi and Gulshan Grover while the roles of Nafisa Ali and Laila Rouass are equally important. The music of the film is being directed by John Altman.

The movie Shoot On Sight is political thriller that deals with the problems and dilemma of Muslims especially the ones who are peace lovers. The movie resembles the ealier produced movie “Dhokha”. The theme of the movie is about the bombings and terrorists activities that once happened on London in July 7, 2005. The London government issued the order of “Shoot On Sight” to the Muslims after those undergroung bombings. The suicide bombings by four British Muslims killed 52 innocents and injured 700 people in London. The movie also depicts the life of a Muslim police officer Tariq Ali at Scotland Yard.

Commander Tariq Ali ( Naseeruddin Shah ) was born in Lahore and married to an English woman, is working as a police officer in Scotland Yard. He was asked to investigate the terrorists’ attacks that happened in London. Being a Muslim he was a center of suspicion from his fellow officers and seniors and this is why his investigation faced several problems. The investigations revealed his innocence and the operation of some terrorist group in the country. He realizes that sometimes it is tough to make others believe even if you are right.
