Sikka was an action movie released on September 22, 1989. The movie was directed by K Bapaiah and produced by Shrikant Nahata. The top roles in the movie were played by Dharmendra, Jackie Shroff, Dimple Kapadia and Kader Khan while the roles of Moushmi Chatterjee, Prem Chopra, Asrani, Aruna Irani, Mahesh Anand and Brahmachari were also important. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Amit Kumar, Alka Yagnik, Vijay Benedict, Sudesh Bhosle and Alisha Chinoy.

Sikka was an action flick that revolved around two close but wealthy friends named Vijay ( Dharmendra ) and Pranlal Sinha ( Prem Chopra ). The two friends were very close to each other and this is due to this fact that they decided to turn their friendship into relationship when Vijay wanted to propose marriage on behalf of his sister, Shobha ( Dimple Kapadia ) with Pranlal’s son, Amar ( Sumeet Sehgal ). The decision was all Pranlal’s.

Pranlal agrees and soon the preparations of marriage started taking place. The twist in the story comes when Vijay finds that Pranlal’s prime business was the supply of drugs and smuggling. When Vijay came to know about this, he called off the marriage very soon. Pranlal became angry on Vijay but was in no mood to give up his criminal career. Pranlal was shocked to know that Amar killed himself when he came to know about his father’s malicious activities.
