Akshay, who loved the phrase, called Vipul and told him that he had found the title for their next production. Akshay added that despite of its name the movie is not specifically communal. The extra N in Kinng is just to bring the title numerologically to a fortunate number.

Lucky ( Sonu Sood ) leads a group of crooks in Australia other being played by Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Kamal Chopra and Sudhanshu Pande. Lucky is regarded as the king of underworld in Australia. Happy Singh ( Akshay Kumar ) born in Punjab was asked to travel to Australia so that villagers could be happy in his absence. He took Tony Singh ( Om Puri ) with him and met Sonia ( Katrina Kaif ) on the trip with whom he falls for love. Happy saves Lucky from attackers but had to be hospitalized. Happy’s life took a turn who became the new king in place of Lucky. With this starts a series of confusion and humorous misunderstandings that leads to accidental wedding.
