Bollywood actor, Sohail Khan, was born on December 20, 1970. He is the son of famous writer Salim Khan and the younger brother of bollywood actors, Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan. He is married to Seema Sachdev and is the father of a son. He started off his career as a director with Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty starrer Auzaar. The movie did fair business at the box office. He made another film titled Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya with Salman and Kajol in lead roles. Once again the movie did very well at the box office.

After giving to back to back hits as a director, he decided to start his acting career as well. He made his debut as a leading hero in romantic thriller Maine Dil Tujhko Diya opposite beautiful Sameera Reddy but failed to impress audience with his acting skills. He worked in some other flop movies as well such as Darna mana Hai, Lakeer : The Forbidden Lines, Krishna Cottage etc. He then played second fiddle in romantic comedy Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya in which he took Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif for playing the lead roles. He won several acclaims for his superb comic timing in the film.

His next film was multistarrer action thriller titled Fight Club in which he co-starred Zayed Khan, Dino Moreo and Neha Dhupia. He once again starred in a solo flick titled Aryan opposite Sneha Ullal but this time too he failed to get success at the box office. He did a cameo appearnce in multistarrer Salaam-E-Ishq. His latest released flicks Hello and Heroes are doing good business at the box office.
