The movie Speed was released on October 19, 2007 under the banner of Baweja Movies. The movie was directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Harry Baweja. The actors in the main roles were Zayed Khan, Aashish Chaudhary, Aftab Shivdasani, Urmila Matondkar and Sanjay Suri while the roles of Sophie Chaudhary, Tanushree Datta and Amrita Arora were also significant. The music of the film has been directed by Pritam Chakraborty and the songs were sung by Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Joy, Sonu Nigam and Antara Mitra.

Speed is an adventurous, thriller movie full of several twists and turns. The element of comedy along with the mystery makes it worth watching. The movie mostly revolves around two actors Sandep Arora ( Zayed Khan ) and Richa ( Urmila Matondkar ). The movie starts when Sandeep goes to London in hopes of convincing his girlfriend Sanjana ( Tanushree Datta ) so that she can provide him with an another chance of expressing his love. The undercover agent, Siddharth Varma ( Sanjay Suri ) receives a CD from a gangster Aftab Shivdasani who had teamed up with Sophie Chaudhary, which showed the tapings of his kidnapped wife Richa.

Siddharth was instructed to follow some instructions but had no idea of what was happening. Soon he found that, he would be needed to kill the PM of India when he would be touring London.  Accidently, Richa got the hold of a cellphone and asks Sandeep to help her who was a stranger to her. Sandeep gave him moral support and decides to help her but this made Sanjana irritated and she threatened to break up again. Sandeep risked his life just to save a stranger Richa whose only hope was Sandeep.
