The movie Strangers was released on December 14, 2007 under the banners of Sahara One Motion Pictures and Indorama Films. The romantic thriller movie has been directed by Anand L Rai and produced by Uday Tiwari and Raj Kundra. The music of the film has been directed by Vinay Tiwari and the songs are sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Vinay Tiwari, Band Nine, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal. The actors involved in the film were Kay Kay Menon, Jimmy Shergill, Nandana Sen and Sonali Kulkarni.

The movie Strangers is a romantic thriller that is successful to grip the audience in such a way that even in the interval the audience doesn’t like to leave their seats in fear of missing an important part of the film. The story of the movie is not the same as that usually produced in the Bollywood and it wouldn’t be wrong to rate the movie as the Best thriller in recent time. The movie begins with the two men Mr. Sanjeev Rai ( Kay Kay Menon ) and Rahul ( Jimmy Sheirgill ) are travelling inside a small but first class compartment of a train in England. Sanjeev is a successful businessman while Rahul is a writer who has not got any opportunity to showcase his talent.

The two men are completely different in personalities but manage to entertain each other on their journey. The two strangers who are also Indian from origin start narrating their stories to each other. Rai tells him about his wife ( Sonali Kulkarni ) who is making it difficult for him to live after she has lost her only son in an accident and is now close to being mad. Rahul holds his wife ( Nandana Sen ) responsible for breaking their marriage. They both decide to kill each other’s wife. This was the turning the point of the story which started changing their lives.
