Bollywood action drama, Subha-O-Sham, directed by Tapi Chanakya and written by Kaushal Bharti was released in the year 1972. The movie starred Sanjeev Kumar and Waheeda Rehman in lead roles while Fardeen Khan, Simin Ghaffari, Rafiee, Azar, Meeri Kiukas and Mir Mohammed also played important characters in the film. The melodious muic of the movie was directed by the well knwon music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Aarun ( Fardeen Khan ), who is living a wealthy lifetyle alongwith his mother and a younger brother named Naseer ( Sanjeev Kumar ). Aarun meets with an alocholic singer and dancer named Shririn ( Waheeda Rehman ) and falls in love with her. Shirin also likes his compnay and they starts meeting frequently. Soon they both deeply falls in love with each other. Aarun introduces Shirin to his mother and tells her that she is an Indian Rajkumari.

But his mother revelas the real identity of Shirin and ask Aarun to forget her. But Aarun refuse to do so and with the help of Naseer arranges for his marraige with Shirin. But he get shocked when on the day of their marraige, Shirin refuse to get married with him. Aarun gets angry with this and get married to another girl named Nazneen. Years later, Aarun goes to attend the birhday of his son’s friend and get shocked to see Shirin there as the wife of Naseer.
