The movie Summer 2007 was released on June 13, 2008 under the banner of Atul Productions and Adlabs Films Ltd. The movie is directed by Suhail Tatari and produced by Atul Pandey. The star cast of the movie is Sikander Kher, Gul Panag, Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, Uvika Chaudhary, Arjan Bajwa, Vikram Gokhale, Prashant Narayanan, Shweta Menon, Ashutosh Rana, Neetu Chandra and Sachin Khedekar. The music of the film is directed by Gourov Dasgupta and the singers of the movie are Ujjaini, Sharib, Toshi, Aanchal, Gourov Dasgupta, Sunidhi Chauhan,  Bonnie Chakraborty and Shweta Vijay.

Just within few weeks after the release of the film Woodstock Villa, Summer 2007 is the second release of the actor Sikander Kher. The film is based on the theme of “Farmers committing suicide”, the intentions of the director and script writer are to be appreciated but to the disappointment it does not gives any solutions. The film successfully depicts the awakening of the careless youth of our country. Rahul ( Sikandar ) leads the group of five medical students who come from rich families.

They decide to go to some rural place in order to avoid the political clutches. Soon they find the bitter lives of the people of the villages and their problems. The group who was supposed to be on a picnic discover themselves in the poverty struck village in Maharashtra. They come across the reality of rural India that is the farmers committing suicide. The fun frolic journey turns out be some soul searching and heart touching journey. Each of the members feels bad for the poor people of the village. But at last it is these students who have to make choice of leaving them or helping them.
