Bollywood romantic movie, Sun Meri Laila, directed by Chander Bahl was released on April 22, 1983. The movie starred Raj Kiran and Deepika in lead roles while Rajendra Nath, Om Shivpuri, Goga Kapoor, Iftekhar, Birbal, Leela Mishra, Mukri, Madhu Malini, Madhu Malhotra and T. P. jain also played importanbt characters in the film. The hit music of the movie was directed by music director Vijay Patil while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

The movie starts with U.S. returned Vikram aka Vicky ( Raj Kiran ), hwo is been asked by his parents to get married with a beautiful girl named Nisha. But Vicky is in love with another women named Annie ( Deepika ) and wants to get married with her only. Annie is the daughter of Vikram’s father’s employee named David ( Subbiraj ). Vicky and Annies goes to a picnic alongwith their friends but ends up missing their transportation. They are then abducted by a group of female bandits. But they are freed by the leader of the bandit group.

They then tries to get back to their home. But they get shocked to see that many people are after them. They later learns that Vicky’s father has announced for a reward of rupees one lakh for the one who will bring Vicky and Annie to home. Now the youngsters are on the run from several mobs. Meanwhile, Vikram’s father revelas about his love relationship with Annie and immediately fires David from his office. What to happen next?
