Supari was a crime movie released on June 20, 2003 under the banner of Aum Creations. The movie was directed and produced by Padam Kumar. The lead roles in the movie were played by Uday Chopra, Nandita Das, Rahul Dev and Purab Kohli while the roles of Nauheed Cyrusi and Irrfan Khan were also important. The music of the film was directed by Sandesh Shandilya and the songs were sung by Mahalakshmi Iyer, Hariharan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Vishal Dadlani and Makrand Deshpande.

The movie Supari is a different moive that revolves around today’s youths and showcases their wants, desires and the extent to which they would go to achieve that. The story of the movie revolves around four guys Aryan ( Uday Chopra ), Papad ( Rahul Dev ), Chicken ( Purab Kohli ) and Mushy ( Akash Saigal ) who wanted the money at any cost and didn’t mind making it in an easy way. They soon meet a person Mamta Sekhri ( Nandita Das ) who showed them the easiest way to make money.

The twist in the story comes when Aryan and his friends put a heavy sum of money on a bet allegedly molded in their favor but still lost. They were struggling to find the money and their confidence failed to impress the Bhais who came to collect their sum. Aryan seeks help from Pandit who helped them to place the bet. He asked him to meet a lady called Mamta Sekhri. She helped him a lot and offered him a gun and a cover photograph for a contract murder. Aryan also agrees to do the job for her.
