The suspense thriller Suraag was released on March 26, 1982. The movie was directed as well as produced by Jagmohan Mundhra. The key roles in the movie were enacted by Sanjeev Kumar, Parikshit Sahani, Shabana Azmi and Rajesh Khanna while Tina Munim, Hema Malini, Asha Sachdev and Gita Siddharth were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar.
