Bollywood actress, Sushmita Sen, was born on 19 november 1975 in Kolkata, India. She was the winner of Miss Universe title in the year 1994. Infact she is the first one from India who became Miss Unverse. She belongs to a Bengali family. She adopted a girl, Renee, in the year 2000. Sushmita made her acting debut with the movie Dastak in the year 1996. however the movie failed to do well at the box office.

Her next two films Zor and Hindustan Ki Kasam also performed badly. But very soon she returned with a bang in David Dhawan’s comic caper Biwi No.1 in which she starred opposite Salman Khan. She won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the movie. She gave another hit in the form of Sirf Tum. The song ‘ dilber dilber ‘ picturised on her earned immense popularity among audiences.

But her biggest hit so far is 2004 released Main Hoon Na in which she acted the love interest of king Shahrukh Khan. She also played a powerful role in Main Aisa Hi Hoon. Her next movie Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, which was her second movie with Salman Khan, proved out to be a big hit at the box office. But her last two films Zindagi Rocks and Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag failed to do well at the box offcie.
