Taarzan - The Wonder Car was a comedy action movie released on August 6, 2004 under the banner of Baba Films. The movie was directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Gordhan Tanwani. The important roles were played by Vatsal Sheth, Ajay Devgan, Ayesha Takia and Farida Jalal while the roles of Gulshan Grover and Rajpal Yadav were equally important. Music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Jayesh Gandhi, K K, Kumar Sanu, Kunal Ganjawala and Shaan.

Bollywood has earlier produced a movie in which an important role was played by the car. The movie was Akayla and the lead role was played by Amitabh Bachchan. The actor Vatsal Sheth was first seen on the small screen in the serial “Just Mohabbat” and Ayesha in a music video “Nahi nahi abhi karo” and now the actors are together in the movie Taarzan. The story of the movie revolves around a young and smart guy Raj ( Vatsal Sheth ) who is presently studying in a college and also working as a part time in a garage owned by Kartar Singh ( Amrish Puri ) to earn himself some money.

Raj lives with her grandmother whom he refer as Dadima ( Farida Jalal ). The other lead role was played by Priya ( Ayesha Takia ), a young and beautiful girl from London. She is on a visit to India and this is when Raj’s life changes when she started taking interest in him. Dadima tells him that she is in love with him. One day while returning to home Raj see an abandoned car in a junkyard and realizes that this is his father’s dream car. Raj’s father Deven Choudhary ( Ajay Devgan ) was a mechanical engineer. Raj worked hard to own this car and transformed it into a wonderful car and named it as Taarzan.
