Tadipaar was an action movie released on December 17, 1993 under the banner of Vishesh Films. The movie was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and was produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The top roles in the movie were played by Mithun Chakraborty, Pooja Bhatt and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. Some good roles were played by Anupam Kher, Vikram Gokhale and Avtar Gill. The music of the movie was given by Nadeem Saifee and Shravan Kumar while the singers were Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik and Vinod Rathod.

The movie starts with Shankar ( Mithun Chakraborty ) who is arrested by the police and is totally expelled from entering the city. Shankar had a very good friend Kadak ( Avtar Gill ) and he starts living with him, outside the city. One night Shankar saves a woman named Namkeen ( Pooja Bhatt ) from a bunch of gangsters. On seeing her miserable condition he takes her home and makes her feel comfortable. Later Shankar notices that Namkeen looks like a very rich woman named Mohinidevi who was missing.

A plan arises in Shankar’s mind and she asks Namkeen to pretend as Mohinidevi, so that they can gulp a good amount from her treasure. Now, the three were planning to lead a happy and leisurely life with Mohini’s money. Was Namkeen the real Mohini? If not then where is the real Mohinidevi. The story had a different plot among the other released Indian love stories. The movie also had some beautiful locations and songs. Special appearance was given by Juhi Chawla.
