Tango Charlie was an action movie released on March 25, 2005 under the banner of Neha Arts. The movie was directed by Mani Shankar and produced by Nitin Manmohan. The actors in the significant roles were Bobby Deol, Ajay Devgan, Tanisha Mukherjee and Sanjay Dutt while Sunil Shetty and Alok Nath were also there in the film. the music of the film was directed by Anand Raj Anand and Anu malik while the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Kailash Kher, Kunal Ganjawala and Vijay Prakash.

The famous director Mani Shankar was successful in making some impact on the audience with his movie “15 December” but was unsuccessful to impress the audience with “Rudraksh” and now he has tried his best with tango Charlie that also has some special effects. The movie starts with Indian Air Force helicopter pilots Squadron Leader Vikram Rathore ( Sanjay Dutt ) and Flight Lieutnant Shezad Khan ( Suniel Shetty ) were spending their time in some vacant locations. But suddenly they saw several dead bodies scattered all over and a movement among it.

The head quarter didn’t allow them to carry the rescue operation because of bad weather but despite this, they carried out the operation. The officers needed to fight the bad weather and keep the BSF soldier alive. They then come across the wounded officer Tarun Chauhan’s ( Bobby Deol ) life story, his fears and battles and also about his love interest Lachchi ( Tanishaa ). He also told them about his mentor Havaldar Mohammed Ali ( Ajay Devgan ) and about his influence over him. It is the story of brave soldiers who fight to save our lives and country.
