The movie Tashan is an action thriller and was released on April 25, 2008 under the banner of famous Yash Raj Films. The movie is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra. Stars in the lead roles in the film are Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor but the characters of Sanjay Mishra and Manoj Pahwa were equally important. The music of the film has been directed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani and the singers of the film are Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Narayan, Sukhwinder Singh, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Vishal Dadlani and Salim Merchant.

Tashan is a debut film of the director Vinay Krishan Acharya but the script of the film is little weak. The movie reminds us the romantic films of bollywood earlier in 70’s. The story of the film revolves around four people; let’s take a look at them one by one. Bachchan Pande ( Akshay Kumar ) is a middle aged man who wishes to become a top killer and is highly qualified for this purpose as he can break his enemy’s bones with ease. Jimmy ( Saif Ali Khan ) is the flirtatious guy around and is always available for them. He is working in a call center and coacjing English but aims to have max number of girlfriends.

Pooja Singh ( Kareena Kapoor ) is a single hot gal available but has that habit of fooling everyone. Bhaiyyaji ( Anil Kapoor ) is the self made man who has done various things before he is attracting money and now wish to speak English with George Bush. The enemies Jimmy, Pooja and Bachchan Pande are on a journey of India and need to trust each other more than anyone else. Bhaiyyaji, who likes killing other peoples as much as his English communication, is learning English from Jimmy and wants him and Pooja dead at any cost. He appoints local gangster Bachchan Pande for handing them to him.
