The suspense movie Teesra Kaun was released on December 23, 1994. The movie was directed by Partho Ghosh and produced by N N Sippy. The major roles in the movie were played by Mithun Chakraborty, Chunky Pandey, Somi Ali and Javed Jaffrey while the roles of Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Amol Palekar, Tinu Anand and Sheeba were also important. Music of the film was directed by Anand and Milind Chitragupt while the songs were sung by Bali Brahmabhatt, Sunita Rao, Sadhana Sargam, Abhijeet, Udit Narayan and Bela Sulakhe.

There had been movies of all genre in the Bollywood but the suspense movies are least produced here. Teesra Kaun was a hit suspense movie released in the year 1994. The movie revolves around three guys named Vijay Verma ( Chunky Pandey ), Bingo Nagpurkar ( Satish Shah ) and Khoka Ganguli ( Rakesh Bedi ) who are heading to Bombay to watch a cricket match and also meet Bollywood megastar Mithun Chakraborty. During the trip they drank lots of alcohol as well.

Vijay notices that a couple in the next room of the coach in the train includes a beautiful woman. So he goes there and introduces himself and gets to know that the man is called C.K.Kadam ( Amol Palekar ) while the lady is called Manjula ( Rituparna Sengupta ). The seat beside the lady is taken up by Pankaj Nigam ( Javed Jaffrey ). Vijay tries to take the seat from him and this starts a fight among them. The train stops at a station and when it starts, Kadam finds that Manjula has been killed. The police start investigating the case.
