Teesra Kinara was a romantic movie released 8 August 1986. The movie was directed by Krishnakant. The main roles in the movie were played by Raj Babbar, Anita Raj, Smita Patil and Manmohan while the presence of Paintal, Javed Khan, T.P. Jain, Gulshan Grover and Shubha Khote supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Shyam Sundar and Uttam Singh while the songs were sung by Anuradha Paudwal, Raj Babbar and Shabbir Kumar.
Teesra Kinara was a watchable movie that was able to grip the audience for a long period of time. The story of the movie was nothing new but its release was surely noticed. The female lead in the film was played by Smita Patil who has acted in movies like Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Ata Hai, Mera Dost Mera Dushman, Angaarey while her first film was Charandas Chor released in 1975.
