Songs of Teesri Aankh


Bollywood suspense action thriller, Teesri Aankh, directed by Subodh Mukherjee and written by K. A. Narayan was released on April 23, 1982. The movie starred Dharmendra and Neetu Singh in lead roles while Shatrughan Sinha, Zeenat Aman, Rakesh Roshan, Satyendra Kapoor, Helen, I. S. Johar, Rakesh Roshan, Mehmood and Sarika also played important roles in the movie. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known music director Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Anuradha Paudwal, Lata Mangeshkar, Manna Dey, Hariharan and Asha Bhonsle.

Ashok ( Dharmendra ) is brought up by Malti ( Nirupa Roy ) just like her own son. Malti herself has two sons, Amar and Anand ( Rakesh Roshan ). Malti’s husband, Kailash Nath ( Satyendra Kapoor ) gives the statement against deadly bandit, Jabbar ( Amjad Khan ) as a result of which he is sentenced to death. But unexpectedly, Jabbar gets killed before that could happen. Jabbar’s son Sheroo kills Kailash Nath. Sheroo is then arrested by police and is sentenced to prison for 20 long years. Just before his death, Kailash Nath informs Malti that Ashok is actually his son from his first wife.

Kailash Nath also makes her promise that she will never make Ashok live alone. Malti get shocked to learn that Amar is missing from home and she consider Ashok responsible for this. Years later, Ashok and Anand are now grown up guy but still Malti hates Ashok and blames him for absence of Amar. Anand is in love with a prostitue named Rekha ( Sarika ) and frequently visiys her place. But problem arises when Anand is arrested by police in the charge of killing underowlrd don, Ranjeet ( Ranjeet ).
