Tehkhana was a horror film released on December 12, 1986. The movie was directed by the none other than the Ramsay brothers Shyam Ramsay and Tulsi Ramsay while it was produced by Gangu Ramsay. The major roles in the movie were played by Hemant Birje, Kamran, Aarti Gupta and Sheetal while the roles of Huma Khan, Rajendra Nath, Narendra Nath and Priti Sapru were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Ajeet Singh while the songs were sung by Dilraj Kaur, Amit Kumar Ganguly, Anuradha Paudwal, Sushma Shreshta Poornima and Asha Bhosle.

The male lead in the film was played by the famous actor Hemant Birje who had acted in many movies earlier like Tehkhana, Aaj Ke Angaarey, Ajooba Kudrat Ka and Love In Jungle while his first movie was Tarzan released in 1985. The female lead in the film was played by Huma Khan who has acted in movies like Meri Jung released in 1985, Kabrastan released in 1988 and Khooni Murda released in 1990 while her first film as an actress was Hum Hain Lajawab released in 1984.
