Bollywood romantic movie, Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya, directed by A. Muthu and written by Ikram Akhtar was released on August 18, 2000. The movie starred Abhishek Bachchan and Keerti Reddy in lead roles while Sanjay Suri, Kadar Khan, Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Tiku Talsania, Farida Jalal, Satish Kaushik, Asrani, Zohra Sehgal and Himani Shivpuri also played important roles in the film. The superhit music of the movie was composed by Ismail Darbar and Ranjeet Barot while the songs were beautifully rendered by Sonu Nigam, Vinod Rathod, Shankar Mahadevan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Alka Yagnik, Babul Supriyo, Hariharan and Chitra.

The movie starts with young and handsome, Kabir Srivastav ( Abhishek Bachchan ) who falls in love with a beautifull girl named Pooja Sinha ( Keerti Reddy ) after seeing her in a marraige. He befriends Pooja and decides to tell her about his love. But before he could tell her about his love, she returns to Mumbai. Pooja’s boss, Mr. Oberoi ( Kadar Khan ) is unhappy because of her late coming to work and confronts her for this. Pooja’s frind and collegue, Maggi ( Johnny Lever ) comes to her rescue and tells Mr. Oberoi that Pooja has been engaged to Kabir and also shows him some photographs of them which were taken in the marraige.

Pooja too agrees to this story as she needs to keep her job. When Kabir learns that Pooja has announced her engagement with him, he thinks that Pooja is also in love with him. Kabir decides to travel to Mumbai to meet her. On the otherhand, Pooja meets with her boss’s son, Raj Oberoi ( Sanjay Suri ) and falls in love with her. And now she needs to convince Mr. Oberoi and Raj that she is not really engaged to Kabir. And for this she seeks help of none other than heartbroken, Kabir.
