The romantic movie Tere Naam was released on August 15, 2003 under the banners of Orion Pictures and MAD Entertainment Ltd. The movie was directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Sunil Manchanda. The main roles in the movie were played by Salman Khan, Sachin Khedekar, Bhumika Chawla and Savita Prabhune while Sarfaraz Khan and Ravi Kishan were also there in the film. Music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Kamal Khan, K K, Sukhwinder Singh and Shaan.

Tere Naam is a love story of a guy, so obsessed with his love that he would do anything to have her lady love in his life. The movie starred Salman Khan and Telugu actress Bhumika Chawla. The story revolves around a guy named Radhe ( Salman Khan ). Although Radhe has a good heart of helping others even if he need to knock the bad people but he seems to be a bad guy to the common man. He is an ex-student of his college but still sits outside of it to rag the new students. One of his victims is Nirjala ( Bhumika Chawla ), a very simple girl.

Radhe liked Nirjala’s simplicity and due to their repetitive meetings, he falls for her. He was so obsessed with her that he even thought of marrying her one day. His impression over her was not god as she has always seen him fighting and creating violence. Thus she rejected his proposal straight away. The daughter of temple priest, seems engaged to another guy named Rameshwar ( Ravi Kissen ). One day, Radhe, unknowingly, saves her sister from a problem and when Rameshwar informed her about this incident, she also started liking him.
