The Legend Of Bhagat Singh was a patriotic film released on June 7, 2002 under the banner of Tips Music Films. The movie was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Ramesh S Taurani. The actors in the lead roles were Ajay Devgan, Farida Jalal, Raj Babbar and Akhilendra Mishra while the roles of Sushant Singh and D Santosh were equally important. The music of the film was directed by A R Rahman and the songs were sung by A R Rahman, Sukhwinder Singh, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam.

The legend of Bhagat Singh was a great patriotic movie directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi. The movie is the life story of the famous and brave freedom fighter and martyr Bhagat Singh ( Ajay Devgan ). The movie is successful in reminding us the sacrifice and contribution of Bhagat Singh. Seeing the dead bodies of people at the jallianwala Bagh Massacre in Amritsar, the legendry fighter was so moved that at the early and gentle age of twelve, he decided to revolt against the British rule. He first participated in Mahatma Gandhi’s Non-cooperation movement in 1921 but was convinced that the movement is not going to have any effect on the government.

The main part of Bhagat’s life came when he met Chandrashekhar Azad ( Akhilendra Mishra ). Bhagat was so much inspired that he left his mother ( Farida Jalal ) and his love ( Amrita Rao ) so that he can join Azad’s revolutionary party to fight against the wrong. His aggression against the death of Lala Lajpat Rai forced him to face the brutal lathi charge. He was assisted by Sukhdev ( Sushant Singh ) and Rajguru ( Santosh ) at various point of time.
