The thriller and romantic movie The Train was released on June 8, 2007 under the banner of Siddhi Vinayak Creations. The movie has been directed by Raksha Mistry and Hasnain S Hyderabadwala and produced by Narendra Bajaj and Shyam Bajaj. Actors in the lead roles were Emraan Hashmi, Geeta Basra and Sayali Bhagat whereas supporting roles were enacted by Anant Mahadevan, Rajat Bedi and Suresh Menon. The music of the film has been directed by Mithoon and the songs were sung by Mithoon, Zubeen Garg, Shilpa Rao, Shaan and K K.

The film The Train is very much inspired by a Hollywood thriller film named Derailed. The story of the movie revolves around Vishal Dixit whose life transforms from some ordinary and boring to one filled with love and romanc when he met a beautiful girl. Vishal Dixit ( Emraan Hashmi ) was living in Bangkok with his wife Anjali ( Sayali Bhagat ). Vishal also had a 5 year old daughter Nikki. Their marriage was on its way to worsening but two were just holding it tight. To make their marriage worse, Vishal met a beautiful girl Roma (Geeta Basra) on some day when he was going to his work.

Vishal and Roma were both attracted to each other from the beginning and gradually when Vishal knew her better he realized that she was also suffering from her unsuccessful marriage and wanted to get over with it. They began dating each other and love between them grew. Anjali started doubting him but Vishal was also wondering whom to choose. He realized that someday this would leave three lives stranded. So he decided to find a permanent solution to this but whatever be the solution it will surely hurt few members.
