Beautiful bollywood actress, Tulip Joshi, was born on 11 September 1979 in Mumbai, India. She did her graduation from Mithibai College in Food Science and Chemistry. She starts getting ad films offers after she participated in Femina Miss India Contest in the year 2000. But unfortunately she failed to become the winner of the title. She then did some commercials before appearing in her first music video. She then made her Hindi film debut with Yash Raj Films, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, opposite Jimmy Shergill and Uday Chopra.

After making her debut with an average film, she completely vanished from bollywood movies for almost two years beacuse of some personal reasons of her. She then made a comeback with Shahid Kapoor starrer Dil Maange More in which she played one of the lead heroine besides Soha Ali Khan and Ayesha Takia. The movie did average business at the box office. She won several accliams from audience as well as from critics for superb act in 2005 released Matrabhoomi.

She was next seen in suspense thriller Dhoka opposite Muzzamil Ibrahim. The movie did well at the box office and she also recieved good reviews for her performance. But her next film titled Superstar in which she worked opposite newcomer Kunal Khemu failed to get success at the box office. However, the movie was praised by critics for its unique storyline but it didn’t altered the response of audience to the film.
