The movie Uff Yeh Mohabbat was a romantic family drama released on December 13, 1996. The movie was produced and directed by Vipin Handa. The lead roles were played by Abhishek Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna and Sadia Siddiqui while side roles were played by Saeed Jaffey, Reema Lagoo and Anupam Kher. The music directors were Nikhil and Vinay while the singers were Farid Sabri, Saeed Sabri, Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy. Vipin Handa was also the story writer.

In the movie Raja ( Abhishek Kapoor ) and Chiclet ( Saddiya Siddiqui ) were the two known names of St. George’s college, Bombay. They were quite famous and everyone liked them. One day Raja meets a girl Sonia Verma ( Twinkle Khanna ) and gets attracted to her. Chiclet always had a liking for Raja. A tour to Sikkkim was planned by the college students. All started making plans but Raja was thinking something else.

He went to Sikkim alone. Sonia and Raja get to know each other more. Soon they were lovebirds. Chiclet didn’t like Raja accompanying Sonia and was jealous. She makes plans to part them. In one such attempt Raja was arrested by the police. Misunderstanding cropped between Sonia and Raja. Sonia felt her dad is being blackmailed by Raja. But Chiclet was not over yet. She wanted Raja and thus could go to any extent. Will the lovers meet?
