Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi was a comedy and a romantic movie released on December 23, 2005 under the banner of Aavishkar Films. The movie had been directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Sangeeta Ahir. The actors in the lead roles were Sanjay Dutt, Amrita Rao, Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar while some important roles were also played by Suhasini Mulay, Arshad Warsi and Prem Chopra. Music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by K K, Shreya Ghosal, Jayesh Gandhi, Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam.

The movie Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi is a fantasy film based on a novel concept that is a first ever attempt of the Bollywood. The first half of the movie is very interesting while the second half is bit sluggish and uninteresting.  It is a story of Aditya Singh ( Shahid Kapoor ) who lives in Mumbai in a big house with her grandmother ( Suhasini Mulay ),  brother Rohit ( Mohnish Bahl ), sister Antara ( Ekta Bahl ) and Rohit’s children - Rohan and Rinky. His elder brother Ajay’s children also lived with him as he had died in a plane crash.

Aditya loved Neha ( Amrita Rao ) who lived in his neighbourhood and was a tutor of the children. Neha and Aditya wanted to get married but he wished to marry his sister first. She was engaged to a person who demanded Rs. 50 lacs as the dowry. Aditya had no option but to motgage his house and was dependent on a business deal to fetch the amount back. A twist comes when Aditya meet an accident and died in the hospital. He then found himself in front of a well dressed Yamraj ( Sanjay Dutt ). Aditya sees the future of his family and asked him to go back. Yamraj agrees to send him but on few conditions.
