The movie Via Darjeeling has been released recently on June 27, 2008 and is under the banner of Moxie Entertainments P Ltd. This thriller movie has been shot at various places like Darjeeling, Kalimpong both in India. The director of the movie is Arindam Nandy and the producer is Joy Ganguly. The actors in lead role are Kay Kay Menon, Parvin Dabbas, Prashant Narayanan, Rajat Kapoor, Simone Singh, Sandhya Mridul, Sonali Kulkarni and Vinay Pathak. The music director of the movie is Prabuddha Banerjee and the singers are Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala and Chitra.

The movie looked very promising with its natural beauty and scenery. The story of the movie revolves around a man named Ankur ( Kay Kay Menon ) who is married to Rimli ( Sonali Kulkarni ) recently. The newly married couple decides to honeymoon in Darjeeling. When they are ready to leave for Calcutta and come back from honeymoon suddenly Ankur goes missing. The inspector in charge of the case is Robin Dutt ( Vinay Pathak ) who asks Rimli about any clues. Rimli tells him that she suspects a taxi driver who had a fight with Ankur and a suspicious man who seemed to follow them on the trip.

The mystery keeps building throughout the movie. The case returns to Calcutta and the efforts of inspector gives no results. Two years later, Robin’s friends get together to enjoy and gossip, while drinking wine at his place. This is with due respect to the age old tradition of Bengal called ‘adda’. When Robin narrates them the incidence, his friends started exchanging their views and thinking the possible outcome of the tale. The story gets a new turn each time. The film consists of several twists and mind boggling mystery.
