The movie Victoria No. 203 was released on August 31, 2007 under the banner of Angath Arts Pvt. Ltd. The movie belonged to the genre of comedy and suspense and is directed by Anant Mahadevan. The movie is produced by Kamal Sadanah and stars the following actors in lead roles Om Puri, Jimmy Shergill, Anupam Kher and Preeti Jhangiani. Important characters were also played by Kamal Sadanah, Javed Jaffrey and Rajesh Khera. The music of the film was directed by Viju Shah and the songs were sung by Dominique, Shaan, Udit Narayan, Zubin and Shreya Ghosal.

Victoria No. 203, as the name suggests, is a remake of the famous oldie with Ashok Kumar and Pran as the main actors. Their roles are played by Anupam Kher and Om Puri respectively in this film. Since the movie is a remake it also possesses the fun and a comic element. The story of the movie is all about the search for the lost diamonds worth 300 crores and how the lives of different people are affected in chasing them. Bobby Bombata ( Javed Jaffery ) is a rich businessman who wants those diamonds at any cost. When he was denied to buy the diamonds he made a plan with his girlfriend Devyani ( Preeti Jhangiani ) to steal the diamonds.

Bobby hires cat Tora ( Tora Khasgir ) to steal the diamonds for him but as one can guess, Tora ran away with them and tried to betray him with her brother Karan (Rajesh Khera). When Ranjit ( Kamal Sadanah ) got to know about her, he stabbed her but the wounded Tora managed to escape and hid the diamonds in the Victoria No. 203, a carriage. Raman helped her by taking to the hospital but was caught by the police on the way in suspect of her murder. Raman’s daughter Sara ( Sonia Mehra ) starts riding the carriage to earn money in place of her father unknowing of the diamonds lying in her carriage.
