Bollywood comic action thriller, Waisa Bhi Hota Hai, directed by Shashank Ghosh and written by Junaid Menon was released on November 14, 2003. The movie starred Arshad Warsi and Sandhya Mridul in lead roles while Pratima Kazmi, Ranvir Shorey, Suchitra Pillai, Anant Jog and Pankaj Saraswat also played important roles in the film. The hit music of the movie was directed by the the ace music director Vishal Dadlani while the songs were rendered by Kailash Kher, Rabbi Shergill, Shibani Kashyap, Bali Brahmbhatt, Sunidhi Chauhan etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Puneet Sanyal ( Arshad Warsi ), who is living like a drunk on the street bench of Bombay. He is in this condition because his girlfriend, Agni Sinha ( Sandhaya Mridul ), who is a police officer by profession, refused to get married with him. Puneet come across a wounded man named Vishnu ( Prashant Narayan ), who has been shot by the goons of a gangleader named Gangu Tai ( Pratima Kazmi ). Puneet helps Vishnu in reaching to his boss, Ganpat Mohite ( Anant Jog ), who is also a criminal don. Vishnu and Puneet becomes close friend but Puneet refuse to get indulge in any criminal activity.

Ganpat reveals that Puneet’s brother was a police informer and therefore ask Vishnu to kill Puneet. However, Vishnu refuse to do so and as a result of this Ganpat sends his goons to kill both Vishnu and Puneet. But before the goons could do anything, Puneet is abducted by Gangu Tai. But Puneet reminds her of her son and therefore she release him from her custody. Agni arrests Gangu and when she is released from the jail, she abducts Agni. Agni get shcoked to reveal that Puneet is also in the list of Bombay’s most wanted.
