Bollywood romantic drama, Waqt Ki Deewar, directed by Ravi Tandon was released in the year 1981. The movie starred Jeetendra and Neetu Singh in lead roles while Sanjeev Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha, Sulakshana Pandit, Preeti Gangul, Kadar Khan, Amjad Khan, Nazneen, Pran, Rajendra Nath, Birbal, Jayshree T. and Satyendra Kapoor also played important roles in the film. The melodious hit music of the movie was directed by the veteran music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey and Asha Bhonsle.

The movie starts with a young mother, Sarla ( Nazneen ) who lives alongwith her two sons in a village. She is brutally raped by the lustful Thakur Dayal Singh ( Amjad Khan ) after which she commits suicide leaving behind her two sons, Vikram ( Sanjeev Kumar ) and Munna ( Jeetendra ) alone in the cruel world. Destiny strikes once again as Vikram and Munna get seperated from each other. Years later, Vikram is now a grown up guy and is a criminal. He is working under a unknown guy named Ranvir, who is none other than Thakur Dayal Singh.

Vikram meets with the a beautiful girl named Priya ( Sulakshana Pandit ) anstantly falls in love with her. On the otherhand, Munna is also a grown up guy now and is living alongwith a kinddhearted guy named Sher Khan ( Pran ). Munna now calls him Amar Khan and is a police inspector by profession. Vikram and Amar meets with each other but as enemies. Amar is suspicious over Vikram’s work and lifestyle?
