The romantic movie Yaadein was released on July 27, 2001 under the banner of Mukta Arts Ltd. The movie was directed and produced by Subhash Ghai. The main roles in the movie were played by Hrithik Roshan, Jackie Shroff, Kareena Kapoor and Rati Agnihotri while Supriya Karnik and Amrish Puri were also there in the movie. The music of the film was directed by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Sneha Pant, Mahalaxmi, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Hariharan, Asha Bhosle and K K.

Yaadein was directed by the famous director and Bollywood’s showman Subash Ghai who describes the movie as the story of love along with the elements of friendship. He remembers the time when he was shooting for the film and says that shooting for the movie was like a picnic for the crew. The movie star casts big names like Jackie Shroff, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor. The story of the movie is about Raj Singh Puri ( Jackie Shroff ) who lives in London with his wife Shalini Singh Puri ( Rati Agnihotri ) and three beautiful daughters.

Ronit Malhotra ( Hrithik Roshan ) is a rich guy but is close to Uncle Raj’s family and especially her youngest daughter Isha Singh Puri ( Kareena Kapoor ). Monishka Rai ( Kiran Rathod ) was someone who will never forget her experiences with Ronit. Avantika Singh Puri ( Avni Vasa ), the eldest daughter, was the one who dealt with every problem of theirs both before and after her marriage. Nalini Malhotra ( Supriya Karnik ) was Ronit’s mother but was never attached to him.
