Bollywood movie, Yaadon Ki Baraat, directed by Nasir Hussain was released in the year 1973. The movie starred Dharmendra, Vijay Arora, Tariq and Zeenat Aman in lead roles while Neetu Singh and Ajit also played important roles in the movie. the music of the film was given by R.D. Burman. The film was a box office hit.

The film starts with three brother Shankar ( Dharmendra ), Vijay ( Vijay Arora ) and Ratan ( Tariq ), who got seperated after the death of their parents. Shankar and Vijay witness the murder of their parents by Shakaal ( Ajit ). All the three borthers flee from there and loose contact with each other. They grow up in entirely different circumstances. Shankar is haunted by the memory of his parent’s murder.

Now after several years, the three boys have grown up. Shankar is a big time crook now accompained by his friend Usmaan. Vijay has becmme a handsome hunk and is in love wit a rich girl named Sunita ( Zeenat Aman ). the youngest one, Ratan has changed his name to Monto and working as a singer in a hotel. In the end all the three brothers identifies each other with the help of a song which their mother had taught them in past.
