Bollywood suspense mystery, Yakeen, directed by Girish Dhamija and written by Vikram Bhatt was released on July 1, 2005. The movie starred Arjun Rampal and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles while Kim Sharma, Saurabh Shukla, Sudhanshu Pandey, Anang Desai and Atul Parchure also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the music directos Himesh Reshamiya and Amar Mohile in collaboration while the songs were beautifully crooned by Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Shantanu Mukherjee, Alka Yagnik and Sunidhi Chauhan.

The movie starts with a married couple, Nikhil ( Arjun Rampal ) and Simar ( Priyanka Chopra ), who meets with an accident. However both of them manage to recover soon. Nikhil’s face gets injured badly and therefore the plastic surgery of his face is performed. In addition to this, Nikhil also becomes amnesia patient and knows nothing about his past. Simar takes a good care of him and convinces him that she is his wife. After six motnhs, Nikhil is released from the hospital. Simar ask him to starts his normal life once again.

Nikhil starts going office and meets with his friends. But still he is curious about his past life as he has no knowledge about his past. His friend, Tanya ( Kim Sharma ) informs him that before their accident he made a call to her and was speaking about a secret about Simar. Nikhil decides to follow Simar to reveal the truth. He get shocked to find that Simar is having an affair with someone. But little does he knows is that the things are not in the way they are looking.
