Bollywood movie, Yaraana, directed by David Dhawan was released on October 20, 1995. The movie starred Rishi Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles while Raj Babbar, Shakti Kapoor, Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Kader Khan also played significant characters in the film. The superhit music of the film was given by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Vinod Rathod and Sapna Mukherjee. The movie was an instant hit and the particular song ‘ Mera piya ghar aaya ‘ picturised on Madhuri created a ‘dhoom‘ among audience.

The movie starts with Lalita ( Madhuri Dixit ), who get forcibly married to a cruel man named JB ( Raj Babbar ). However, JB loves Lalita from deep of his heart but he never allows her to go out anywhere and always dominate her on various issues. He keeps her like a bird in a cage. Finally, Lalita decides to run away from that cage. She then meets with a handsome guy named Raj ( Rishi Kapoor ), who lives with his grandfather, Rai Saheb ( Kader Khan ). Lalita introduces herself as ‘Shikha’ to the family and starts living with them.

Raj and Shika falls in love with each other. Rai Saheb is also happy with this news and starts preparing for their marraige. But then JB returns in her life and tells the family about the real identity of Shikha and his relation with her. The family get shocked by this news. JB takes Lalita back with him. Lalita also agrees to become a good wife of him from now onwards. What next is the real suspense?
